Would love to see you offer classes on take portrait photography. Something I would love to learn but the opportunities around the KC around are very limited. I would love to see a Saturday workshop in this or even several one-hour sessions.
Thank you,
Jannah Rice

Hi! I would so love to find classes in photojournalism- capturing moments in time and telling stories with photos. I have a couple of friends who are interested as well and we would be coming from St. Joseph. Do you offer anything like this? Hope to hear from you soon – thanks – debi frazier

I agree with Jannah Rice; I would love to see a workshop on portrait photography.

I would love to see you guys offer a class (even just a Happy Hour)
on shooting medium format with a digital back and the basics of
shooting tethered. That is something that’s hard to learn unless
you can afford to buy the setup.

Great idea! We’re putting our heads together now to build our summer & fall Education schedule. Be on the lookout for an announcement about the new schedule this month. Thanks for your suggestion.

We just finished two workshops in Feb. and March on portrait lighting. It’s always one of most popular classes. Thanks for the suggestion to offer a class on shooting portraits. Great idea!

I like that idea. Thanks!

Due to my work schedule, I missed Frank’s composition class. I hope he plans to do another.

I would love to see a class on photography and building a website. I would love to be able to build a family website, so we can all have one neutral place for family photos, kids, grandkids, family reunions, vacations, and upcoming events etc. etc.

Jus moved here from Albuquerque NM , is there any place to rent photo studio space, or darkrooms for b&w? thanks

Mel May 12, 2009 at 6:26 pm

Yes, please for a portrait workshop! I’m all ready to buy some strobes but not sure where to start.

I also have a friend that can’t make it to the May 16 Digital Photography Basics class. Hope you’ll continue having those. Thanks!

We no longer rent studio space. There was just not enough demand to support it. You may be able to find people willing to rent their own spaces once in a while.

If you are interested in photographing people you should really consider the Clay Enos workshop. It will be one of the most inspiring workshop we have ever done.

Digital Basics is exactly what I need, but I can’t attend a morning session. Any possibility of an afternoon or evening. Or, how about a Happy Hour, just to learn to decipher the lingo? Thanks, Rebecca

Matt November 11, 2009 at 10:55 am

I travel a lot for my job and haven’t been able to attend any of your sessions. Have you ever thought about recording these sessions… or an even better option would be to stream these sessions over the web thus allowing it to still be interactive. Thoughts? Thanks, Matt

Will you have studio lighting workshops in the next couple of weeks or months?

Patrick December 10, 2009 at 4:01 pm

I would like to see a class centered around color management and printing. I have the photo skills under control but would like to start printing on my own.

Ron Brown December 29, 2009 at 8:17 am

Would love to see a basic lighting class and taking professional looking B&W photos in Studio Lighting.

Tricia Nugen January 17, 2010 at 8:45 pm

I would love to do a photo walk and learn where the best spots are in KC!

Sylvie February 3, 2010 at 2:19 am

Goodmorning.
I am very intersted in the course you are offering in March regarding Single-Light Portraiture.
I’ll be in Kansas C that period and would love to join this class together with my partner who lives in Kansas city.
Are there still availabilities for that course?
Thank you
Sylvie

I am interested in seeing if someone there can teach the basic workings of the Nikon D80. Thanks
